Common questions

Pebo isn't finding my climbing videos
Pebo needs full photo-library access to scan for climbing clips. In iOS Settings → Pebo → Photos, choose “Full Access.” Limited access only lets Pebo see the handful of clips you hand-picked.
Pebo got a clip wrong — how do I fix it?
Nothing Pebo detects is final. Swipe up on a clip in the player to open Details, where you can correct it:
  • Wrong category — tap Class and pick gym, outdoor, or board. The clip moves to that album.
  • Wrong place — tap Location and choose any place you've climbed, or rename the place to fix it everywhere at once. Handy for clips with no GPS, or ones that picked up the wrong spot.
  • Not a climb at all — tap ••• → Remove video. It's hidden from Pebo and stays untouched in your Photos library.
To fix several at once, long-press a clip in the grid to start selecting, then use Change location or Remove from Pebo at the bottom. Your corrections stick — they survive a rescan.
How do I get rid of a location I don't want?
Open the location's album and tap ••• → Remove Location. Every clip filed there is hidden from Pebo — they all stay in your Photos library — and the place goes with them. You can also remove a venue straight from the full gym or crag list.

One thing to know: this hides all the clips at that place, not just the label. If some of them are real climbs you want to keep, move those to the right place first (Details → Location), then remove what's left.
My videos aren't uploaded anywhere, right?
Correct. Your videos never leave your device. Classification runs on-device, and only small text metadata (notes, tags, place names) is backed up — and only if you choose to sign in. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I back up or restore my data?
Sign in with Apple to back up your projects, notes, tags, and place names to the cloud, and restore them on a new phone. You can also export a backup file to the Files app from Settings.
How do I delete my account and cloud data?
In the app: Settings → your account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your backed-up data. It does not touch the videos in your Photos library.
